Universal structural adhesive and sealantM-1 is a versatile construction adhesive and sealant for interior or exterior use. Made for industrial roofing, it can be applied in damp, dry, and cold climates down to 30 °F. It won't discolor with UV light and is capable of joint movement in excess of 35% in both compression and extension. M-1 has a 20-minute skin-over time, is paintable after 24 hours, is non-toxic and has very low odor (16.9 g/l VOC)! NOTE: We recommend using this product within 6 months of the date of purchase. NOTE: This caulk will not bond to HDPE plastics.
This is truly a heavy-duty adhesive/sealant and is a suitable replacement for Liquid Nails or Almighty Adhesive. Chemlink's M-1 bonds well to most construction materials including EPDM, SBS mod bit, aluminum, galvanized metal, PVC, glass, stainless steel, fiberglass, FRP, wood, EIFS, block, brick, EPS foam, concrete and stone. M-1 is very similar to Chemlink Novalink, an all-weather construction sealant. M-1 has lower viscosity, shorter skin-over time, higher shear strength and bonds to a few more materials. M-1 is perfect for more heavy-duty jobs. It's really a structural adhesive as well as a sealant. NOTE: Use only rubbing alcohol to smooth out. Do not use water or mineral spirts. NOTE: For TPO roofing, TPO primer must be used first.
