Who Is Griff Jenkins?
Griff Jenkins’ journalism career started as an intern at Salem Radio Network in 1994. In 1996, he was promoted to radio associate producer and worked on the nationally syndicated showCommon Sense Radio with Oliver North. He then worked as an associate producer on another radio show,Oliver North’s War Stories,from 2001 to 2003.
He joined Fox News as a radio producer in 2003; then, he was promoted to a correspondent at Fox News Channel in 2006. Subsequently, his career highlights as a correspondent of the Fox were the 2012 movie theater shooting in Aurora, then the 2016 election cycle, the Boston Marathon bombings, and the aftermath of the deadly EF5 tornado in Moore.

Early Age & Bio
William Griffin Jenkins was born to an army family on 15 December 1970. His father, R. Lee Jenkins, was a Marine veteran who served in the Korean war. Unfortunately, his father passed away in August 2013.
After high school, he attended the University of Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1989.
Career
After graduating college, Jenkins moved to Washington D.C., where he interned for Republican congressional representative Don Sundquist before joining Salem Radio Network in 1994. There he began his journalism career as an intern, and in 1996 he was promoted to producer associate at the radio station. He was among the producers of the nationally syndicated showCommon Sense Radio with Oliver North. Then, from 2001 to 2003, he was associate producer to the radio showOliver North’s War Stories.
Later, in 2007, he published an article titled ‘A Front-Row Seat to History’ about his experiences in the Iraq war in the Magazine of Memphis University School.
Career at Fox News
Jenkins joined Fox News in 2003 as a radio producer; then, in 2006, he became Fox News Channel correspondent. From his position, he covered many national and international stories.
Prominently he is known for the 2012 CO movie theater shooting in Aurora correspondence, followed by 2008, 2012, and 2016 election cycle, the Boston Marathon bombings, and the aftermath of the deadly EF5 tornado in Moore.
Besides that, Jenkins was an embed in the Middle East on several occasions. His coverage spanned the invasion of Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 through the Battle for Mosul in 2016. He also contributed to the Fox channel’s live coverage from New York City during the 2014 New Year’s Eve program and theAll-American New Year.

Among his exclusive coverages, in 2021, Jenkins corresponded with the Travis Manion Foundation’s president and Gold Star sister Ryan Manion on the occasion of Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery. Followed by that, during a reporting excursion, Jenkins and his team ran into asylum seekers andillegal immigrantscrossing the Rio Grande from Tamaulipas, Mexico, into Texas near Del Rio in 2021. The collected stories of the immigrants garnered national attention as they evidentially opposed American President Joe Biden’s former claim on the issue where he stated the borders were closed to resist illegal activities.
Wife & Children
Jenkins is married to his wife, Kathleen Jenkins, since September 1998. They celebrated their 23rd marriage anniversary in September 2021. Jenkins and his wife have two daughters together, Madeline and Mackenzie.
