What can I do to have unlimited* downloads?

If you are an unregistered user, you will have a limit of 2 downloads. You can increase this limit to 5 free templates per month if you register an account.

In order to have unlimited downloads*, you need a premium subscription. For more information, https://slidesgo.com/pricing

Please note that, for both registered and users with a subscription, a download will not count towards the limit in the following cases:

  • If you download a template that you have already downloaded during the same month
  • If you download a template for PowerPoint that you have already downloaded before for Google Slides, or vice versa
  • If you download a color variant of a template that you have already downloaded before

The download limit will reset 30 days after your registration or your premium subscription purchase.

*For security reasons, Premium users will be limited to 150 downloads per month.

What are the benefits of having a subscription?

With a subscription, you will enjoy the following benefits:

What kinds of subscriptions do you have?

We have two interesting plans to suit your needs: Premium and Education. The Premium plan gives you access to over 15,000 Premium ad-free assets and templates, perfect for all kinds of users, from healthcare workers to businesspeople and collaborating teams. And the bigger the team, the bigger the discount!

As for the Education plan, it’s specially conceived for students, schools, teachers, NGOs and other education centers. It has the same benefits as the Premium plan, but with special discounts for education. It's suitable for students of all ages and gives access to many educational ready-to-use resources.

And there’s more! Both plans can be chosen for a monthly or an annual plan. The former is charged per month and the latter is charged in one payment per year. Annual plans usually allow you to save some money compared to twelve consecutive monthly fees.

What are your available payment methods?

Slidesgo currently accepts the following payment methods:

Credit and debit cards: Slidesgo accepts payments by credit and debit cards as long as these are enabled for online payments. Please note that Slidesgo is part of Freepik Company, based in Spain, and our plans are linked to an automatic renewal cycle, therefore international and recurring payments need to be allowed too.

PayPal: payments can be made by PayPal. Please note that on some occasions, and depending on the location, the system may ask you to enter a credit card number, but the charge will still be made to your PayPal account.

Are there any additional charges after purchasing my subscription?

No, only the automatic renewal, as long as you did not cancel that option.

Is payment through your website safe?

Payments with credit/debit cards are done via Stripe, a platform that has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, they use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.

As for PayPal payments, be advised that PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. is duly licenced as a Luxembourg credit institution in the sense of Article 2 of the law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector as amended and is under the prudential supervision of the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, with registered office in L-1150 Luxembourg.

My credit card has been rejected and I do not know why. What can I do?

This may be due to several reasons. We will mention here the most common ones:

  • In case there is an error with your card before the payment:

    If the error message “Your card has been declined” appears after entering the details of your card and before completing the payment process, you should contact your bank to confirm that your card is enabled for online payments and/or international (Slidesgo is based in Spain) and recurring (Slidesgo subscriptions work with an automatic renewal system) payments.

    If that is the case, you can try again as soon as you have solved this issue with your card.

  • The payment has been declined after completing the payment process:

    After completing the payment process, the system takes a few minutes to validate everything after checking with the bank. If there is a problem, the payment will be declined and you will receive an email notification. We inform you that Slidesgo does not decline payments; this is something that comes from the bank not accepting the charge.

    In these cases, our system will try to process the payment three more times. Since this is an automatic process, it will not be possible to try again manually. For this reason, we recommend that you contact your bank to solve the issue and request that they accept the charge.

    In case all attempts fail, our system will automatically cancel the payment request and you will need to purchase a new plan again.

My card has been rejected and my subscription has been canceled. What can I do now?

Whenever there is a problem with the payment for the renewal of your subscription, we will try again up to four more times (for a week). If the payment is still unsuccessful after these attempts, your subscription will be canceled.

You should also check your payment data and update it if needed, as this could be the problem. To do so, access your payment data by going to your profile options and clicking “Subscription”. Make sure that your credit card has not expired and is enabled for online payments, (including international and recurring payments).

If your subscription has been canceled and you want to reactivate it, click the “Reactivate” button that you will find in the “Subscription” section.

Will my subscription be renewed automatically?

Yes. Your subscription plan will renew automatically unless you cancel this option. To cancel the automatic renewal of your plan and avoid future non-desired payments, you must do so from your profile. Click the drop-down arrow, then “Subscription” and, finally, “Cancel subscription”.

How can I request an invoice?

You will find your invoice in the “Subscription” page section of your profile. It will be available between 24 to 48 hours after the payment.

Can I change my billing information after the payment?

Yes, you can edit your billing information so that we can use it for future charges. To do so, access your profile options and click “Subscription”. Then, edit your billing information and then click “Save changes”.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Click the drop-down arrow at the top right corner and select “My Subscription”. You will find the “Cancel subscription” option just below your billing information, on the left side of the “Save changes” button. If your subscription started after May 2023, then you will find the button right below the subscriptions price breakdown, on the same page.

Remember that you will remain a premium user until the expiration date of the subscription. This information can be found on your subscription page.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time, as long as 24 hours have passed after the payment. You will still be able to use our website as a premium user until the last day of your purchased subscription (for example, if you purchased an annual subscription and you cancel it after three months, you will still be a premium user for nine more months and then your subscription will simply not be renewed). Please note that we do not refund the proportional part.

If I cancel my subscription, will I still be able to use the content that I have already downloaded?

Whenever you acquire a subscription, you will see a link to download the license (in PDF format) in your downloads history.

This license allows you to use Slidesgo’s templates without having to credit us, and will remain in effect even after your subscription expires.

Remember that you must keep any license you have downloaded on your computer or storage device so that we can guarantee the correct use of our resources.

Please note that our Premium templates can be downloaded from your download history for as long as your subscription is active.

Can I ask for a refund if I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can request a refund within 30 days after the payment if you have not downloaded any template from our website.

Can I change my plan?

In case you have purchased a monthly subscription and wish to upgrade it to a yearly plan, you can do so. Click the drop-down arrow at the top right and select “Subscription”. Then, select your plan and click “Change Plan”. Your new yearly plan will be effective as soon as your current monthly plan expires. Also, it will not be charged until after your current monthly plan expires.

Please note that it is not possible to change a yearly plan to a monthly plan. In this case, you must cancel your yearly plan and wait until its active period expires. Then you can purchase a monthly plan.

If you wish to change your Premium plan to an Education plan, you can only make this change after your active subscription period expires. You will also need an account that ends in .edu, .school or .k12, just to name a few. Please contact us if you need further assistance.

Does Slidesgo store my credit card details?

Your credit card details are protected. Only you have access to them. Our payment process is secure and Slidesgo cannot store nor access these details. We only show the last 4 digits of your card so that you can identify the one you used to pay for your subscription.

What happens if I open a dispute with my bank about a Slidesgo payment?

When you open a dispute with your bank about a payment related to Slidesgo, for security reasons, we proceed to disable your subscription and cancel future renewals until the dispute or claim is resolved.

If the dispute is finally resolved in your favor, we will refund the amount and cancel the subscription. Otherwise, the subscription will be re-enabled and will end after the billing cycle that you have paid for has expired. Note that the best practice is to contact us about a refund before filing the dispute claim, as the refund can be resolved much faster.
